WasteFlow was founded by a group of passionate EPFL alumni, driven by a shared commitment to making a real impact on the environment. We saw recycling as one of the most urgent and high-potential levers for change. An industry full of challenges, but also opportunity.

From the very start, we took an unconventional path. We approached our first clients with a proposal: let us use your plant as a real-world lab. What began as a necessity quickly became a strength.

We developed our first prototype hand in hand with them, shaping the system directly on the ground, in response to real conditions, real constraints, and real people.

This close collaboration didn’t just make the product better; it made it theirs. It taught us that the smartest systems aren’t built in isolation. They’re raised together.

Today, that principle drives everything we do. Motivated by environmental purpose, we work alongside our clients to transform recycling from the inside out, solving their hardest problems so they can be proud of what they achieve.
